One of the best board and care facilities I know. If I ever need to be placed myself, I would choose them. Family run with passion for people and the quality of care they need. Staff are very knowledgeable and hardworking. More importantly they are compassionate and go above and beyond to make it feel like home for their residents. Quality loving care. Highly recommend—you must come check them out!

Words cannot express my appreciation for the staff and services of Citrus Pines Senior Living. My father was there just under a month and I got to know the staff well; we were there almost every day. Placing my father in a board and care facility was not an easy decision, but one we had to make. After my initial meeting with Janelyn, I honestly felt completely at peace knowing my father would be taken care of. Post care for my father, my opinion of Janelyn has not waved and she is truly amazing. Her care and compassion, along with her diligent attention to the safety for her residents, is second to none. Janelyn's sons were equally impressive. They all made my father feel safe, special, loved and welcomed. What else can you ask for?! Not only did my father feel this, my wife and I did as well. There is something truly special about this place. Everyone, and I mean everyone, that I came into contact working for facility was a blessing. This included third party transportation service providers, medical specialists that checked in from time to time, and even hospice workers assigned to provide additional care towards the end of my father's life. With respect to the facility itself, it is safe, clean, pleasant, peaceful, and welcoming. My father's room was a perfect match for his personality. The staff made sure to make it welcoming and decorated it to fit his needs. Best of all, my father, who loved to be surrounded by nature, had a view of the serene backyard, where he could see and listen to the water fountain, watch hummingbirds feed outside his door and squirrels feed and play. Janelyn and the staff went above and beyond to make sure my father's remaining days were nothing but peaceful and comfortable. The circumstances that lead us to partner with Citrus Pines Senior Living were difficult, but it was a pleasure getting to know Janelyn and all of the staff within this amazing facility.

We looked at several other places for my dad and this place felt like home. The house is very clean and just so homey. Janelynn and her staff, which includes her 2 sons, cater to the residents like they are family to them. The meals are delicious. Family is encouraged to have meal at a separate table in the other room while the other residents are eating at the main table. The residents are kept on a routine. My dad's health has improved dramatically. We all want to reserve a room for ourselves there. It's the best place around. Highly recommend Citrus Pines Senior Living.

Citrus Pines Senior Living is a place I would want to stay. Actually I asked Janelynn, the owner to book me a spot in 20 years. The house is a home. It's clean, warm and inviting. There is a beautiful dining table set for the residents. Great food too! Janelynn, the owner, and her sons Jamel and Jake are so welcoming. My mother could be a pistol at times. The bond that Jamel and my mother formed over the attention and care that he treated her with was amazing. My mother wasn't well. She passed after two months of being here. In her final days, they were so attentive to her, but not neglecting their other clients in any way. As my mother's health turned for the worse, Janelynn or Jamel would sleep in the hallway outside her room. They were concerned for her safety, trying to get out of bed. Who does that? They do. Wonderful caring people. Beyond our expectations. I have no words left to say except, if you are looking for a family home for your loved one, look no further. Janelynn, Jamel and Jake, we can't express our appreciation and your dedication to care for those in need. With deep respect, we thank you with our hearts.
