They came to me after I was released from rehab, to provide in-home care. They are all communicative, kind, and professional. Tommy & Joe provided the PT, and I was given great exercises to do each day, and I am now walking better as well. Roberto and Tonean provided the OT, and my core strength and balance are better. They make sure you're doing well before discharge, but I'm not going to lie, I'd love to have them keep coming! I'm glad they accepted me, they did a terrific job. Altruistic and kind.. they make being in pain easier.

We have been with Benefit Home Health for almost nine months, and our experience with their communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating. Our nurse, was an asset and very helpful to our family. Unfortunately, the office and administrative staff did not provide the same level of support.<br><br>We repeatedly went without wound care supplies listed on the order forms for my husband’s weekly wound changes. We called asking for updates and were told supplies had been ordered, but nothing arrived. I continually had to pay out of my own pocket to ensure he had what he needed or as close as possible to. Having to beg for supplies needed to follow the doctor’s orders is unacceptable. These supplies should never be delayed, and caregivers should not be put in a position where they have to take shortcuts because the agency has not done its part.<br><br>There also seemed to be constant nurse turnover. While my husband was hospitalized, they did not inform us that they could not take him back as a returning patient because they had no nursing coverage. We only learned this when we called because the caseworker said they wouldn’t have any new nurses for 2 weeks. Without that call, we would not have known we needed to arrange another provider.<br><br>After almost nine months with this agency, we expected timely communication, reliable supplies, and follow-through. Our nurses care was appreciated, but the lack of support behind the scenes repeatedly left our family scrambling.
