My mother went to Bellaken after a hospital stay. She hated it. I looked at the reviews before she went there. They are from family and friends of the owners. The food was disgusting and not edible. There is no air conditioning and only the nurses have fans. Some nurses only speak Chinese. My mother was left on the toilet for several hours in the middle of the night. It was not safe for her to walk back to bed so she was stuck there. There is no furniture in the room. I had to take her out early due to the deplorable conditions. Please go there first before putting a loved on in this place

My aunt was placed here several months ago after having been in the hospital and unable to go back to live indpendently. I've had my share of dealing with nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities the last couple of years and am very impressed with Belleken Garden. Working with the staff has been phenomenal and they attend to her needs and care without neglect or avoidance. Her care team has been proactive ever since and still communicates regularly without me or my family worrying about how she's doing. They provide updates and let us know all the details for her doctors' and dialysis appointments. This experience hast been vastly different than what we've dealt with before with other facilities. I truly appreciate the care she is receiving and the ways I've observed how the staff cares for her and has a lot patience with her as well! They also take surveys and feedback twice a year and are great to work with!

My mother has been living at Bellaken for over 4 years as her mental health progressively declined. The staff is always supportive and treats her with kindness. She enjoyed the activities even though now she can no longer participate. Most of the staff speaks Chinese (Cantonese especially) so it's very good for my mother who has lost her command of English and Mandarin.

Can't say enough good stuff about the staff here. Buu (head nurse) and Joanna (administer) were attentive and took the time to update me on my mom's situation and assist with vid appointments, arranging transport to therapy, and so much more. Jeffrey and his whole team are great, too many to name but I'll try: Janet, Mey, Buu, Joanna, Corinna, Chef Carlos, Dena, Daniel, Karen, Angelina. They took care of my mom while she was in skilled nursing and assisted living. Since they have these two levels of care in one place, Bellaken was a great choice once she was dispatched from the hospital. Sometimes they are short staffed, yes, but even during these periods they handled emergency situations with care and expediency. My mom was in and out of the hospital a lot, and someone always called or texted to let me know when she was taken in and brought back and how she was feeling. The kitchen worked with her to make sure she got her PB&J sandwiches between meals and milk before each meal how she likes.
