I am very happy living here at the Independent Living Cottages for the past 6 months. It's been "My Home" that gives me comfort & peace of mind. I feel Safe here knowing that nearby are the Staff and friendly neighbors. I don't have to be concerned about cleaning, fixing my meals, and it's so helpful to have the backyard to send my dogs out when needed. Other places I have visited have no place for dogs to run around free. I would have to go down 2 stories then walk a short distance to the area for dogs. I am thankful I found the Cottages as it has been a blessing and comfort during the time of heartbreak and concern.

If you are looking for a transitional place to live before a facility is needed this is the place! The managers here were so amazing to my sweet grandpa. Always wanting to help him or just go visit his pups. One of the managers, who lives on site, paid special attention to my grandfather and was always willing to help him out and make him feel comfortable and cared for. The food here is phenomenal. His little place was so cute and well cared for by the whole team. They look small on the outside but are super cute and cozy on the inside.

I have long been acquainted with Beehive Cottages/Tonaquint, and spent much time there. It is a beautiful area for independent living. I know current residents, and they appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The community center is convenient and has many activities, and the meals are nutritious and tasty. It's a great place to live, especially for anyone living alone who wants to maintain their independence. Carolyn Campbell

I have a friend who lives at the cottages and have visited there many times. They are in a very convenient location that is easy to get to as well as being close to virtually any necessity one could desire. They are very quiet at night time and they have a great staff and recreation center that serves good food and they also deliver meals to the individual cottages as desired. The cottages give you the independence of your own home as well as the friendly and neighborly environment. The grounds are kept very clean and each resident can personalize their porch area. For those with vehicles there are shared driveways and garages as well. If you want someplace that feels more like a house instead of a cramped apartment environment, you should definitely consider living in the cottages community.

I am looking for a place for my Dad and toured Beehive Cottages. I was very impressed with the amenities, staff and safe layout of the community. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during the tour. The cottages are exactly what I was looking for my Dad's independent living. They're clean and just the right size for him. I would feel very comfortable knowing he would be safe and watched over by such a caring staff here.
