Don't leave your family in this facility. They have aids that are aggressive, leave them all night to soak in urine, don't brush residents teeth that can't do it themselves, ignore resident call lights and are starving the ones that are completely independent for cares. When you call the boss on nights about falls, they don't pick up then fire the aids that are doing their job. And now they are extremely short staffed, especially on nights.<br><br>Update: At least two more residents passed away and one of them was starved to death.

Constant staff shortages resulting in missed showers and lack of assistance at meal time. Many personal items came up missing.

I just was at Lacresent Spring Brook Assisted (Bay Harbor) for a visit. I would have to say I have been checking out several in the area. The staff were very professional and this was very clean and loved the layout. They have it all independent living, assisted living and memory care. I also learned for memory care they use mom and dad’s favorite music to help them.<br>After my visit I have put this one at the top.<br><br>Thanks for tour

My family is so blessed that both parents are being taken care of here. My father was one of the first residents in the downstairs Memory Care Unit 2 years ago. My mother moved in 4 months ago in the upstairs unit. Even before the new management I would rate them high. The workers are Angel's. I have spent over 100 hours at SpringBrook and have consistently seen loving, attentive care by the CMA's. Except for a fantastic CMA being terminated (who new management I hope recruits back) - - he was speaking up about another resident with dementia hitting my father, I have only praise for this organization. To do this kind of work, you have to really care about and enjoy this population. It is a challenging profession.<br><br>My mother is also very happy and treated like a queen. When I'm talking to her over the phone, staff is always checking on her, coming to get her for meals or inviting her to activities.<br><br>Thank you SpringBrook, Mackenzie, Zach, Brittany, Chris, Crystal, Therese and all of you. I will be forever grateful that you were an extension of our family at our parents' last stage.
