My Step-GrandMother Minnie Pace and her twin sister Eva Anderson spent their final years as residents of The Baptist Home in Ironton. They decided to do this without telling any other family members. I visited them several times and the were very happy. Then my Mom, Ethel Allen, did the same thing. She called all her children (she had 8) said she needed us all at her house the following weekend. She had already made all the arrangements without any of us knowing. Mom was happy there the rest of her life. These people at the Home are great caretakers of the Older Baptist of Missouri. PS: Minnie & Eva are both buried in the cemetery at The Home.
