About Bailey Creek Health & Rehab

Bailey Creek Health & Rehab is a 74-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Texarkana, Arkansas, including a dedicated memory care unit. The facility is housed in an older building, though multiple families emphasize that the physical plant should not deter prospective residents or their families.

Families consistently praise the attentiveness and genuine care of the nursing staff. One family noted that their father in memory care is always fully dressed with his room spotless during unannounced visits, and that staff members like Matt are responsive to family calls. Another described staff who "care deeply for their patients," while a third family stated there is "no place that measures up" after experience with multiple facilities. Families also highlight the compassionate transition support provided to new residents and their families entering memory care.

One administrative concern surfaced in reviews: a family experienced insensitive billing-related communication during their loved one's passing. Otherwise, feedback focused on the quality of direct care and the organization's commitment to residents. Bailey Creek holds a 3.4 out of 5 rating across 33 Google reviews.

There is nothing perfect in this world, but Bailey Creek more than makes up for the usual human instances with a staff that cares deeply for their patients. As someone stated, it is an older facility, but please don't let that bother you, the important part is the heart of the organization, and it is outstanding. You give this group a chance, offering thanks and praise to them as they earn it, as either a patient or family member, and you will get the blessings back twenty-fold. These people care. I highly recommend it.

Moving a loved one into a memory care facility can be a difficult experience, but all the staff members at Bailey Creek made the transition as easy as possible. They truly care about their residents, and we have had a great experience. I am happy with the choice I made to move my mom to Bailey Creek.

My dad has been in the memory care unit at Bailey Creek for year. There are no words to describe the excellent, consistent care he has received. Looks are deceiving, it is an older facility but don’t let this deter you. I live several hours away and I have never announced a visit. He is always up and fully dressed, bed made, room spotless. Matt never fails to take our calls and give us thorough reports. They are so patient and kind with him. I am in healthcare myself, I know first hand how difficult it is to obtain a Medicare 5 star rating. It’s a big deal and in our family’s opinion, well deserved!

Having had experience with multiple facilities due to my husband’s health concerns, I can honestly say that there is no place that measures up to Bailey Creek. The level of care given by the staff is unmatched. I can honestly say that they spoiled me a bit. I will be forever grateful to them all. Thank you!!

My 90 yr old MIL was here for about a week and a half before she passed away today. She was brought in on hospice. I assume the nursing staff was great, hospice was awesome, but accounting… not so much. MIL hadn’t been deceased for even an hour and Rochelle I believe was here name, pulled my brother in law aside and was harping about money, land deed etc. No, “I’m sorry for your loss, is there anything we can do!” The lady was rude, uncaring and didn’t seem to care that my husband or his brother had just lost their mom!
