they do not care for their patients properly. I have had to beg and plead to have information about my mom, even though I am her DPOA. This included when she got transferred to Salina For an G.l. bleed. When she got transferred to the ER for an infection in her face. Any time l've gone in there My mom Reeked, she had a bunch of new sores. She hit her call button and it took 30 minutes to get any sort of staff in there even though when I went out in the hallway, they were all sitting at the desk on their phones. I didn't hear from my mom for almost a week and I called up there and that's because they were giving her a sedative four times a day, which was supposed to be a PRN which is technically a chemical restraint. One of the head nurses there wouldn't let me in because she was too busy sitting on her phone at the desk but she made eye contact with me about five or six times in the 15 minutes I was standing at the door. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and do not make the same mistake I did.

A year ago 90 year old father had a medical issue that put him in the hospital and then to Azria's Skilled unit for physical therapy. Once he got to know the kind and caring staff, he began to feel right at home. He no longer was lonely and he likes the meals. After his skilled stay was up, he decided to stay at Azria W because he has a group on guys he enjoys sitting with at meals. I have nothing but good things to say about Azria Woodhaven and with the upcoming renovations, it will be even better. This comes from someone who also has another parent in the other local facility. Without a doubt, Azria is the best place for my dad.

This is a great facility ran by a very caring company that rates it’s staff highly. I know the new administrator personally & based in my 35 years in this industry, I can say without a doubt that the new administrator is top notch and really cares for her residents wanting them to have “The Best Care Anywhere” attitude. I would not hesitate to put my loved ones under her and her staff’s care. And that would go for me too when the time comes. I would rate it 6 Stars if it was possible.
