I had a tour with the associate 'April' on Wednesday 8-26-26. Prior to my visit, my phone call with her was overall excellent, knowledgeable and welcoming, therefore, on the day of my visit as I expected she went above and beyond. I was very satisfied with my visit and will follow up with April very soon when I make my decision,

June 2026- Azalea (parent company Mainstay, terrible reviews) finally had Sentrics, the tv service provider, come out. Their equipment needs to be upgraded. After over a year even more errors come up and have lost 1/2 the channels (not counting sports). The errors occur on ALL channels EVERY 30 SECONDS !!!<br><br>There was no hot water 8/30-9/17 and one half a day 11/20, 2025. Ceiling fan blades were flying off for 6 months, down to one blade, before it was replaced. Meal delivery $10, is usually missing the drink & dessert.<br><br>Services should be better for the $4,350 rate per month I’m charged.<br>————<br>I’ve been here since September 2024. The rooms are nice, food tasty and Caregivers helpful. There are problems: overcharged $1,000.00 two months in a row (told it was food room delivery costs, resolved by having my food delivered from Walmart), sheets not changed weekly, since I started tracking, mine have only been changed 4 times in the last 15 1/2 weeks, and tv reception. The tv in the den has never gotten any channels and the bedroom gets channels but with a lot of Directv errors. Have asked for help with this since moving here, tv in the den gets no channels and since February the bedroom tv that has channels but is difficult to watch because of the errors.<br>______________<br>Posted the above review a month ago. Azalea Gardens replied and said they would have someone from the regional support team stop by. That hasn’t happened and the sheet change issue is ongoing. Two weeks in a row sheets were changed, third week I called to say they hadn’t been changed and someone did come and change them. Again, last Saturday (my assigned day) nobody changed. I let them know 2 times that day but got no response.<br>Finally, after 8 months the tv reception in the den works BUT both tv’s get Directv errors and last weekend 3 channels went down completely, no picture or sound. The errors cause the same problem. Errors say contact Directv and I’ve asked since February for someone to contact Directv.<br>For the price I pay these problems should have been resolved.<br>————————————<br>Another month has passed since this review was updated. I received a voice message from someone with Azalea Gardens saying they are working on getting the tv issues resolved but need some time. I reported this problem 5 months ago. Very disappointed in service at Azalea Gardens.<br>————————————<br>Still no improvement on the tv service, lost access to another channel today 8/5/2025. They also quit changing my sheets weekly again.<br>If my wheelchair would work in my condo bathrooms I would definitely not be here.<br>—————————————<br>Today is 9/5/2025….update to review.<br>Now I’ve had no hot water since Saturday. When following up I’m told “the owner knows”. When reported Sunday 8/31 morning I was told someone was here working on the problem. Now it’s Thursday and I still have no hot water.<br>The tv issues still exist, error codes that cause loss of sound/picture and keep losing channels. I was told 7/16 that after a 3 year contract for satellite service they were looking at switching to cable. This week I was told they’re staying with satellite but need to replace the modules.<br>So disappointed in the living conditions at Azalea Gardens!<br>___________________________<br>Today is November 20,2025. No hot water again this morning at 5:15am. Also, yesterday another ceiling fan blade flew off! Now missing 3 of 5 blades! Luckily I haven’t been hit by one and nothing in my room has been broken. This place is awful. Nobody to report this to yet, phones aren’t answered until after 9:00.<br>———-/———————-<br>Today is December 20, 2025. Last Saturday 12/13 there was a brief power outage. It caused problems with TV service. The picture isn’t good and Directv errors went away but are back. The picture and sound both keep going out. I tried to report it to the only phone number available but no answer Saturday or Sunday. Glad I hadn’t fallen!

The staff is very kind and helpful. Both Sharon (ED) and Valencia(Sales director) are awesome and will to go above and beyond for the residents and families. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The residents are happy. Great place!!

My dad moved in about 2.5 yrs ago. Sharon, the director has been very helpful and caring and always lends an ear when my dad is not happy. My dad really loves all of his nurses and says only good things about them. And they keep me in the loop of any problems with my dad. They are trying to make sure the residents stay engaged by having activities and inviting family participation.<br>With full transparency, I have had issues with his medication distribution and have found that I need to stay on top of that. On occasion, he has complained about the food and the tv channels not working.<br>Overall, I do feel that Azalea Gardens provides the necessary care my dad needs right now and I would recommend their services.
