We have had several residents at AMNH over the years: a great uncle, in the 1970s; my grandmother, late 1980s-91; my aunt, my mom and currently my sister. The care has been consistent throughout the years. Nothing is perfect, so we've had questions, but they are answered or resolved right away. The staff is kind and friendly, and we’ve gotten to know them. Some are people from the area who remained to care for friends and family. Their dedication to their patients and community is amazing! I've recommended AMNH many times to friends whose parents needed specialized care and will continue to do so.

An amazing facility filled with people who go above and beyond what is expected. I have a long history with Avoyelles Manor as my grand parents were residents there. Most recently both my parents were residents. If you want a place for your lived ones that is a truly loving caring place, I highly recommend. Therecare so many great activities for the residents and great Cajun meals served. Thank you Avoyelles Manor and blessings to all of you.

My Adopted Brother's mom is in this wonderful place. They have a friendly staff that goes above the standard care that you'd expect. We visited yesterday for a few hours and enjoyed our time together very much.
