I love Kristian the Administrator and her entire team, including Christi the liaison. They truly care about their residents and will go above and beyond. The facility is always clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Did not have a good experience. I was being mocked and laughed at plus something more sinister was going on. Because someone kept coming behind me to run across the room and called my name when no one knows me there. I am being targeted and that's not right.

Our experience at Las Palmas has mostly only been very positive. Staff is genuinely caring and personable with my mom who was placed there for dementia care. My mom has been at Las Palmas for two and a half years. She is a dementia patient who has been getting ongoing regular care and interaction that keeps her positive, adequately fed, and well groomed. My mom has been provided with adequate physical therapy, speech therapy, to help her in her journey of dementia. Las Palmas has an excellent Activities Director in Ms. Myrna who plans wonderful dance parties as well as arts and crafts projects for the resident’s. The food at Las Palmas is cooked on the premises versus all processed, frozen meals. I met the head cook and he is a great guy that is committed to bringing a good variety to all meals! We have experienced the facility to be properly sanitized and clean smelling every time we have been on the premises. The new company that owns Las Palmas has begun renovations which include a lot of new furnishings and new mattresses for residents! This has made a world of difference in the environment and is uplifting to Residents and guests alike. We are grateful that this locked facility has been a very safe 24 hour care environment for our relative! Now that they are owned by the new healthcare company, they are also striving to bring more and more comprehensive therapeutic care to all nursing home and rehab residents. The new director, Mr. Javier, is committed to building a loyal community of health care workers who daily serve the residents in a consistently respectful and caring manner! Mr. Javier is also vehemently working to increase the capacity of therapeutic services and technologies at Las Palmas to establish it as a top rated care facility in the region. I thank each and every staff person who are so committed to giving great care and attention to the residents! I personally thank Amanda, Jessica, Rosa, Dolores, and Ms Myrna, among many, many others who have been exceptional staff professionals who work diligently together as a team and who take their service of the residents and the families of the residents very seriously. When I think of all that each shift of staff workers has to accomplish in a 24 hour period, I say that these people are the true earthly angels with sweet spirits caring for elderly people who are the beloved family members of many of us. It is very, very sad when there are actually bad nursing home facilities at all, but thank God Las Palmas is a very GOOD nursing home facility. We are very grateful for that. If you need nursing home or rehab care for a loved one, this is a great place to choose.
