Cedar cest is not perfect but it's a place where you feel at home. Some staff members are not so nice but the majority of staff makes you feel right at home. Even the residents try to make you feel welcomed. I've been here for a couple of months and I really enjoy being here, do I want to stay here forever, no but for the time being, it's home and I am enjoying myself. So thank you to the staff from cna's to upper management and supervisors , you guys are awesome. Shout outs to the kitchen staff and housekeeping

I tell you what... Kim (Admissions) at Cedar Crest Rehab was outstanding from start to finish! She was professional, transparent, and genuinely took the time to walk me through everything in a way that made sense. Her depth of knowledge stood out, and she explained each step clearly so I could make a well-informed decision without feeling rushed or pressured. What really set her apart was how honest and thorough she was. You can tell she cares about doing right by people, not just filling a spot. If you’re considering Cedar Crest, talking with Kim will give you the clarity and confidence you need. She’s a major asset to their team.

My partner is in rehab here. The food quality is worse than jail food. Patients served nothing but tea to drink at every meal. They are given a food choice list and food service never brings requests. Patients wait hours to get help to a toilet or depends changed. Hit the buzzer no one comes. The rooms are dirty. Patient went for a week without the floor swept. The floors are not mopped in patient rooms. Barely mobile patient's socks that were just changed are black from the filthy floor. Shall i go on.

I was transfered here from HCA North Florida. I read all the reviews before I got here and was disappointed that I was going to be a patient here because of the preconceived notions that I got from the reviews. My first few days were rough. I came late on a Friday night/Saturday morning. I was closed off and negative thoughts ran through my mind all weekend. Bright and early Monday morning I was greeted with a huge smile and a big welcome to Aviata by "Q" we had a huge talk and I addressed my concerns with her. My issue were addressed and resolved before the end of the day. Everyday she made a point of visiting me and making sure I was happy and taken care of. She changed my whole mind set about Aviata. Shawanna, Cedric, Reahys, Immacular, Coco and Donnell, Ashely etc... (these are just the names I could remember) all made my stay wonderful and encouraged me with joy and happiness everyday. I would not hesitate to come back if I ever needed to The nursing staff, CNA's, physical therapy team, PA's and Pain Management were for the most part amazing. I was treated with respect and dignity. I honestly don't think the house keeping crew, activities crew and maintenance crew are not given the respect they are due. They work hard and take pride in their work. A few things could have been better.... The food needs to be upgraded, desperately. The food is not up to par with the facility. It is often cold and not very appetizing. However, the kitchen staff is friendly and respectful. They also need to provide some type of orientation for new residents, so patients are educated and have a full understanding of the services provided at this facility.
