Caring, compassionate, calm, detail-oriented, patient, problem-solvers are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe the staff at Aspen Care. My husband, age 53, has terminal brain cancer and his injured brain tells him he can do everything, yet his injured brain has also taken away the strength in his legs or the ability to sleep. I needed help and support and wasn’t sure how to manage his repeated falls. Tracey and her team knew exactly what to do and continue to adapt to his failing body and injured brain with such gentle and caring actions. The atmosphere there feels just like our home did, clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. I thought that being the youngest resident there would be uncomfortable, but the staff and residents welcomed us in and genuinely care about us. The detailed action plan for how they are taking care of every aspect of his well-being is outstanding! There are so many hard decisions when it comes to declining health, but I’m so thankful that we have found Aspen Care and this decision has been the best!

Aspen Home was a Godsend for my Father. He was there for about four months. The owner of the home, Tracey, took us on a tour of the beautiful home (of which she has two, and two more being built). It was so clean and open when we went in! After previously seeing three other homes that day, there was no doubt we would choose Aspen. The caregivers have been over-the-top wonderful! I never had to worry about my Dad being taken care of, and it was such a relief for me. The price was also comparable to the others we had visited. I would highly recommend this in-home care facility!

Not even worth the one star. I’m a caregiver & medical assistant from another company who had a client transferred here. My client is non-verbal and was doing well and was capable of walking. We brought her back home after two months. Only after the horrible things we witnessed here. We are now having to do physical therapy to get her to walk again because the people at this place did not want to take the time to walk with her, they rather rely on the wheelchair even when my client wanted to walk. I was specifically instructed by her husband to observe how they do things and help if needed. Whenever we called for help, the employees would come on their time even when they weren’t busy with another patient. We specifically told them our client would need help feeding but they just put food in front of them and let them figure it out until her husband spoke up again for them to do it. Then and only then would they help. The goal was to get her situated at their facility and ease her in before she was there without our care. Unfortunately the husband was not satisfied and kept us on until finally deciding to bring her home. I have also noticed while being there another patient who is bed & chair bound does not get ANY socialization unless it’s to check on him once throughout their shift and again at their shift change. They face him towards the window in his room but never actually seen him come outside into the living area. Family members should not have to look for their employees to ask for help. Especially after ringing the bell that notifies them their assistance is needed. It’s also very inappropriate for the employees to be on their phones and hiding out in hallways while patients are in need to which I have witnessed on multiple occasions. When I met the owner before witnessing how their facility really is, she told me to offer helpful advice to which I agreed of course. Shortly after, I had spoke with an employee that was helping my client, simply informing them that my client’s husband would like her to walk since she is capable and likes to. She ignored my message and then falsified the message to the owner. I was then approached by the owner who spoke to me in a very disorderly manner. She then called my company and spoke to my owner/boss in a very rude inappropriate manner over the phone and resulted in me not being allowed to work back at the facility to which I didn’t mind. Overall this facility was very opposite from what they advertise and would 100% not recommend this facility to anyone in search of a good home for family members or friends. Overpriced for the services they don’t do out of pure laziness.<br><br>EDIT: I would also like to state that I am a certified caregiver and medical assistant so having “insufficient caregiving knowledge” is just her unprofessional opinion, I excel everywhere I go and have dozens of recommendations. The owner was very inappropriate while approaching me and assumed I was being “snarky” with her employees while simply passing on a message from my clients husband. Thankfully I have video proof of how the real incident went and in no way, shape or form was I unprofessional. I have multiple videos of their staff ignoring my messages from my clients husband then I have a video of how the owner interacted with me while getting false information from her staff because they disliked having another agency work. I also realized I forgot to mention that the “final straw” for my clients husband was when he found his wife face down on the floor in her room and no one was around to help! He also stated no one came immediately when he called for help. Worst part is her door was always open so how did they not see that or hear her fall? That in my opinion speaks volumes because how often do they really check on their patients? So yes, this company is just overall unprofessional and I will be filing another complaint with the board.

We moved our father into Aspen after weeks of doing the caretaking. Living far from Tucson and needing to return to our families, we were worried what lay in store. But as soon as we visited Aspen Care Home, we could instantly see that Tracey and her team have created a welcoming and supportive home. They met and exceeded expectations, communicated clearly with us about or needs and our father’s needs, and kept him comfortable and happy for several months. We will forever be grateful to Aspen Care Home and hospice for their teamwork and support of our father and us.

After a good recommendation, my family was able to place my Mom in Aspen after a not so good experience at a local hospital and skilled nursing center. She definitely needed TLC and that is what she got for the last 2 months of her life. The caregivers at Aspen were exceptional. They took care of her physical needs but also her emotional ones, as she was oftentimes anxious from experiencing advanced stages of Parkinsons. We also appreciated the beautiful backyard with citrus trees and blooming flowers which was my Mom's view from her room.<br>I am very happy we found Aspen. The owner, Tracey, was always available and on top of my Mom's hospice care, as well as making my family feel welcome. On my siblings last visit, the caregivers brought a lot of extra chairs into her room so my Mom's four kids could sit with her during her final days.
