My mother is in this facility for rehab, and she is pleased with the nursing staff. However, the administrative staff lacks knowledge in some areas. For instance; FMLA outside of their employees. HR Rep. Kim really needs to educate herself on procedures and process of FMLA when its outside of their staff. She actually told me that they don't fill out FMLA paperwork for no one else but their employees. My company completed there portion and ask for proof that my mother is in the facility, and she had no knowledge of what to do. I sure hope the Director is informed about this because she needs training and customer service etiquette.

I would not recommend this facility. The admission coordinator is not honest. She had me to believe that she had availability, which she did but not for my mother. I got all the necessary paperwork ready and she had a home visit with my mother. All this unnecessary work just to deny her. On top of all that she lied about the reason she was denied. People think they can get away with treating others unfair but they will see it again, just keep living. I think this is call discrimination! If you’re black or not rich your parents will not be accepted at ASCENSION OAKS. I’ve been told they done this before. I pray 🙏🏽 that God changes their heart.
