When my husband arrived at aria, he was bedridden and barely able to talk. And just two days with the kind staff at aria, he was alert and talking and so happy to be around people who felt like family. In just a week he was able to walk independently, and at the end of three weeks was able to go home. The staff and the facility are just amazing, just a magical place. Would highly recommend to anybody

Our family is incredibly grateful for Aria Assisted Living at Golden Years Resort in Atascadero! My aunt is a resident there, and the exceptional care, attention, and kindness she receives every day give us complete confidence that she is in the very best hands! One of the things that stands out most is the high staff-to-resident ratio. The caregivers are attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the well-being of each resident. My aunt is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect every day, which gives our family tremendous peace of mind! Unfortunately, I have a very demanding job and cannot visit as often as I would like. The wonderful thing is that I never have to worry because I know she is receiving excellent care! Willie deserves special recognition and appreciation. Willie communicates with me directly, keeps me informed whenever my aunt needs something, and makes sure I know about anything important. That level of personal attention, responsiveness, and compassion is invaluable. Willie's dedication gives me tremendous confidence that my aunt is being watched over with genuine care. He is truly one of the reasons our family feels so comfortable and confident with Aria! Whenever I visit, I find my aunt clean, comfortable, engaged, and happy. The facility is welcoming, well-maintained, and feels more like a home than an institution. The staff members know the residents personally and go above and beyond to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and enjoying life! If you are looking for an assisted living community where your loved one will receive outstanding care, personal attention, and genuine compassion, I highly recommend Aria Assisted Living at Golden Years Resort! They have earned every one of these five stars!

Golden Years Resort feels more like a warm, luxurious family home than a care facility. Set on 3 oak studded acres the facility is stunning—bright, elegant, and impeccably clean. The staff is exceptional; they’re not just caregivers, they’re genuinely caring people who care about each resident. The personalized attention, delicious home-cooked meals, and peaceful surroundings make this place truly special. If you’re looking for luxury assisted living or memory care in the Central Coast, this is the gold standard. Highly, highly recommend!

We are so fortunate to have found Aria Assisted Living - Golden Years Resort for our father. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff associated with this home: their compassion, commitment, friendliness and care to residents and family are exceptional. There is a genuine effort on staff's part to address questions and concerns if they arise and to implement sincere and meaningful solutions. When the time came for him to move from his home, we visited many other assisted living facilities & knew he would get the best individual care here. He is happier than he ever thought he would be and we count our blessings to have found this special home.

My wife and I took care of my now 97 year old mother for 3 years living in our guest house next to us. As the years progressed, it became more and more difficult to take care of her with her progressing dementia /Alzheimer's,, incontinence, lost teeth, etc. After beating ourselves up for years, we finally realized we were doing her a disservice by keeping her in our home, with our limited knowledge of that type of caregiving. That's when we found out about Golden Years Resort in Atascadero, CA. A minute into our tour of the "Home", we were incredibly impressed, and fell in love with the place, as did my mother. This "Home" is not a "Facility", but a wonderfully thought-out house, with a huge Living Room, Kitchen, Theater Room, and Dining Room. It even has slot machines! The staff are incredibly dedicated, loving caregivers who treat my mother as if she were there own. This Home is newly remodeled throughout, and is beautifully done to make it feel like home, not an institution. It was the best decision we ever made, and mom is absolutely thriving there. I'd give it 6 stars if I could! Check it out. You will be impressed!
