Been trying for 2 months to order a CPAP through this company but they are highly incompetent, always send you to offshore support, and seem unable to call my provider directly to resolve anything with urgency. I have had to chase this prescription the whole time, and still don't have it filled. I'm normally very patient and forgiving, but if being a medical device provider is your business and you can't do that, you deserve to go out of business.

Update: Because of this review, not the multiple calls to customer service, I received a call from Apria/Darlene in the 11th hour. She confirmed I should not have been billed for the fully electric bed, which was neither prescribed nor asked for. As of today, the account has been corrected and she offered to cancel the bed pick up I’d arranged for today. I already purchased a new bed and mattress; there’s no way I can physically return the bed frame - too heavy. It’s unfortunate this couldn’t be resolved without me taking extreme measures to avoid being overcharged. **** Do not use Apria if you have medicare. I discovered that Medicare/advantage won’t cover the hospital bed cause instead of a semi electric bed, delivery person said they didn’t have any left so were “giving” a full electric bed. They are billing for a full electric bed which the insurance company does not cover! Even though the doctor wrote a prescription for the bed. So this is one way they can charge more but I was never told this prior to delivery, nor given a choice. This is no reflection on the local company but billing for apria only goes through a call center.

I'm getting a wheelchair replacement and I talked with a wonderful lady named Maria. She was very helpful and extremely nice person. In today's world it's hard to find good customer service, but Maria was a pleasure to work with!! Actually, everyone I've talked to with the Apria Company has been very helpful and very nice to deal with. Again, just wanted to say thanks to Maria for her help.

1 star because both my wife and I have had terrible experiences… First, my wife had our first child, and the doctor prescribed a breast pump. We were told it would be delivered, but then later told we had to pick it up. We picked it up, and the pump kit was incomplete. I returned for the remaining pieces… then the pump wouldn’t work. So, then I had to go back into exchange it. When she finished, we called to schedule pickup. They missed pick 3x, and then sent a threatening letter. We called again, and finally they sent a box for us to drop it to UPS. In my experience, I had a CPAP machine. At first, set up seemed smooth, but over 3 weeks later I had not received my machine. I called several times over the following week, and finally the machine arrived. They never refunded the first month payment. I’ve attempted to resolve this over the phone, but the number is a central number, and the local branch has to complete the refund. We didn’t choose them, we didn’t have a choice of provider as they partner with our insurance provider. If you have the choice… choose wisely

The worst experience ever. The installer could not find his way to our place. I had to go outside to guide him. Then it turned out that the bed motor he brought was not working. Without any explanation, he left. I thought he went to get a new motor, but he left for good. By the time my 92 years old father came home from the hospital after recovering from COVID and a pneumonia, the bed was not assembled, and we had to wait for 4 hours before the issue was resolved. I hoped it would be the end of this sad story, but it is not! The next morning the idiot who, initially, was supposed to assemble the bed, showed up without calling, brought the motor that we did not need, spooked my father, and was surprised that I told him, over the phone, to leave immediately, or I will call the police. I tried contacting his manager twice, but my calls were not returned. I will certainly recommend this parlor to my worst enemy.
