I've had the opportunity to visit many senior living communities throughout Southern California, and The Kensington Redondo Beach truly stands out. From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and vibrant. The community is exceptionally clean, odorless, and beautifully maintained. It has an energy that makes you want to pour a coffee, enjoy the zen, and relax a while. Unlike traditional living facilities, the Kensington gives off luxury hotel vibes. 😎 What impressed me most was the friendliness of the staff and the genuine care they show toward residents and visitors alike. Every interaction I've had has been positive, professional, and welcoming. As a strength & balance coach who works with older adults throughout the South Bay, I appreciate facilities that prioritize not only care, but also dignity, comfort, and quality of life. What really sets this community apart is the strength of their clinical team. Fiona McMahon, LVN – Wellness Nurse Supervisor, Valentina Nikolova, LVN – Wellness Nurse, Janie Acosta, RN – Director of Nursing, and Keith Serle – Haven Manager are all exceptional. Their compassion, professionalism, and clinical expertise are evident in every interaction. You can tell they truly care about each resident and go above and beyond to ensure the highest level of care. The Kensington also has a stellar reputation for a reason. Their culinary program is outstanding, and the activities are truly gold standard which are engaging, thoughtful, and designed to enrich residents’ daily lives. If you’re looking for a community that combines clinical excellence with heart, hospitality, and a vibrant lifestyle, The Kensington Redondo Beach is an easy choice. Highly recommend!

This Kensington has been wonderful to our mom. We looked at several great options in the area and knew very quickly that The Kensington was the best option for her needs. She's happy, healthy, and has adjusted well to life at The Kensington. The Kensington staff is wonderful and keeps the residents engaged with frequent activities and events. The grounds have been recently renovated and are beautiful. Highly recommend a visit if you are considering an option like The Kensington.

My parent(s) were/are at this great Sr. Living facility. I say this because my father passed there but mom is still a resident. The care that the staff embodied to my parents was/is incredible. Everyone is so personable and knows their job. The dining facility and food preparation is out of this world. The special events for the residents and their family is second to none. There is no detailed spared. Additionally, they have medical staff on site which is very comforting for families. I would highly recommend Kensington RB to anyone looking to place their loved one.

Our Mom moved into Assisted Living at the Kensington 2 1/2 years ago because it became too difficult for her to manage alone at home. We couldn't be happier with our choice! The staff is incredibly attentive to every detail. For example, they bring her a cup of her beloved coffee without being asked at the daily(!) musical happy hour. They evaluate Mom regularly and keep us informed of changes. We can easily consult with the responsive on-site nursing or physical therapy staff if we have any questions. They are kind, caring and supportive and look after Mom like family, because they know her so well. They welcome us like family too! We often schedule to join Mom for a meal when we visit. The food is excellent with a new menu daily, though as vegetarians/pescatarians, we'd love a few more options ;) . They are good about accommodating special requests, though. Mom is out of her room a lot – there are people to see and things to do. She's found her "crew" whom she eats with daily, which means we no longer worry about her being lonely. The environment is immaculate and tasteful, with indoor and outdoor public areas that are a pleasure to hang out in. I would recommend the Kensington without hesitation.
