There is no doubt that hiring a home care agency can be a challenging and anxiety provoking experience. After interviewing about 10 home care agencies for my parents we chose Amevian and were so glad we did. Amevian exceeded our expectations in every way. They responded to all calls, texts and emails very quickly, and worked to meet our needs for my parents, even when we had more urgent needs . Everything they said they do and promised when we met with Tim was exactly what they did. The caregivers Amevian chose for my parents were very experienced, caring, and compassionate. Meeting a new caregiver could bring on a little anxiety for me, but once they arrived that all disappeared. Amevian‘s caregivers exhibit confidence, ask appropriate questions and step right in to build rapport with your family member and take over caregiving needs so you can step away and have a break. Tim and his team work hard to match the caregiver to your family members personality and needs and keep caregiving as consistent as possible. My parents eventually needed to move out of their home and into assisted-living and leaving our caregivers at Amevian was very difficult. Should we need further care I will absolutely be calling them back and I have already recommended them to others. My mom has Alzheimer’s and when I would return back to the home at the end of the day she was more engaged, more talkative , and happy. Thank you to everyone who cared for us and especially to Mandy who spent the most time with my mom and got to know her best. I am grateful to Tim and to all the Amevian staff for being there during a difficult time. I can’t say enough about how much you got us through. We miss you.

If I could give Amevian, Tim and especially Amanda 100 stars I definitely would! When we met with Tim to discuss getting some care for my Mom he listened to our concerns and asked all kinds of questions about her and I felt like we were in good hands. And I was right! Amanda is amazing! She is kind, patient and really took the time to get to know my mom. They play music, games, exercise, prepare dinners, etc. My mom looks forward to her days with Amanda. Thanks Tim & Amanda!

I am incredibly grateful for the care that Sabrina has provided to my mother. From the moment she began assisting, it was clear that she has a genuine passion for helping others. Sabrina is not only professional and reliable, but also compassionate, patient, and attentive to every need. Sabrina goes above and beyond to ensure my mother is comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether it’s helping with daily activities like meals, bathing and medication or providing companionship, Sabrina always does so with warmth and respect. Sabrina has built a strong rapport with my mother making her feel valued and understood. What I appreciate most is the way Sabrina takes the time to listen to our concerns and is always proactive in communicating any updates or changes. It’s clear that Sabrina takes pride in her work and is genuinely invested in improving the well-being of those she cares for. I wholeheartedly recommend Sabrina to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and caring caregiver for their loved one. My sister and I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our care team and now an extension of our family.

Natalie was a great first impression with an Amevian caregiver. Very professional and a big help to mom and dad benefited also. As more care was needed Shayla came and was very attentive and observant of mom and we felt she was in good hands. She made good notes I could see in the portal and communicated well with any needs or concerns she had. They both went above and beyond what we expected. Amanda, we just started to get to know, was also good with communicating and working with mom. Mom enjoyed working on her Italian with Amanda on her app. We were very satisfied with Amevian caregivers and would recommend them to anyone needing in home care.

The coordination staff and caregivers are good listeners, patient, and helpful. Specifically, Ema, caregiver, supports my 82 year old aunt is maintaining her feeling of independence while ensuring she eats and is reminded of the importance of her meds. Ema also helped me, as the family member, support my aunt respectfully as my elder, as opposed to feeling like I am becoming her parent. Thank you!!, Amevian Care Services.
