American River Care Center is a good facility. I recommend this facility to anyone looking to be in good hands. They keep up their cleanliness. The staff include me like im family. The CNAs are very caring and compassionate. The administrative staff and Therapist are very helpful especially Benjamin & Behi. They really helped and encouraged me along in progressing to regain my mobility. If i were to ask for any improvements it would be, to make the Therapy gym larger. - Diana F

My wife was a patient here for about 45 days. The care she has received has been incredible. Everyone here is so nice and accommodating and treated her with respect and kindness. I visited her everyday and every time I walked in I was greeted with smiles. The facility is so clean and smells nice, which says a lot. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for skilled nursing.

Was my first time ever in a nursing facility. The staff were super friendly. Especially the ones in hallway 6. The best ones were Gaby, Omar, Henric, and the 3 nurses. Thank you so much for your service and care

I spent 12 days at the American River Center and I was amazed at how organized, and attentive the staff were. The CNA's, Rosa and Alina, were always there and willing to help in any way possible. Reaching out to other areas when the request was not in their scope of duties. The nurses, Jackie, Leslie and Myron, were on top of the medicine distribution and always receptive when I had a request. The wound care nurse, Carolina, checked my incision and after a week, got me an appointment with the doctor from Electro Physiology immediately after being concerned about swelling in the area. The driver, Gary, who took me to the appointment was professional and on time, getting me there ten minutes before the scheduled appointment time. The PT and OT staff were kind and understanding of my limitations, Jordan and Becky, were great helping me with my rehabilitation. Finally, the most diligent of all were the case managers, Mary and Maggie. The first night I was there I misplaced my phone charger and Mary scoured the facility for one I could borrow until I located mine. Maggie helped me navigate the home health care dilemma, and as of this morning all of it was ordered for me. I don't say this lightly, but this place is phenomenal. I also spent 11 days in another facility earlier in the month, and it was the worst experience of my life. I wouldn't give it one star, and plan on leaving my comments about the experience in the near future. So to wrap up, if you are lucky enough to get a bed for yourself or your family member, don't think twice about it, you will not be disappointed. Real person here and not an employee talking the place up. Sincerely, Ken

I was a patient here for 7 weeks post fall and breaking my right arm. My favorite thing about being in this facility were the CNAs. Mila always came in happy and singing every morning. The therapy team really helped my mobility and kept me moving and groovin. Everybody is always pleasant and truly happy to be here. Patient care is top notch and most staff addressed me by my name, which meant a lot to me and helped keep my identity. The activity staff always keep the patients entertained and happy no matter what. I highly recommend American River to anyone needing skilled nursing❤️
