If you ever need to stay at a short term or long term facility, this is the place to go. I was so impressed with the care I received while I was a patient there. The nursing care was wonderful and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. The physical therapy team was the best and they really got me through a lot of my problems. And I can’t say enough about the activities. The staff wanted to make sure no one was bed bound, so they provided so many fun things to keep their patients up and provided so many fun things for them to do. As much as I looked forward to coming home, I miss all the social activities. Darn, I miss my social life there! I loved bingo and the trivia games were great. Also, I attended church services and the entertainment they provided. The music was wonderful. I shimmied and shook in my wheelchair while the music was playing. Life was great there and if you need this kind of care, I recommend this special place. They are surrounded by water. The atmosphere was beautiful.
