As the Director of an Assisted Living Community, I had the opportunity to tour this Adult Family Home and was genuinely impressed. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels warm, welcoming, and truly like home—a place where residents are treated like family. The staff demonstrates a deep level of respect and personal connection with each resident, providing care that goes above and beyond expectations. It’s clear that they not only meet but take pride in maintaining state regulations. Safety features such as grab bars, clearly marked exit signs, and a unique call system ensure residents are both safe and promptly attended to. What stood out most is the genuine atmosphere of compassion and familiarity. The staff know each resident well, creating a sense of trust and belonging that every family hopes to find in a care setting. I left feeling confident in the quality of care provided here, and sincerely impressed by the home-like, person-centered approach they’ve cultivated.

I visited a friend, and was impressed with the cleanliness of the house. There are hardwood floors throughout & lots of room for residents to get around. Staff was very welcoming. The grounds around the house are beautiful. Nice patio area that residents can use, weather permitting. I see why my friend loves it here at the Gig Harbor location.

Agape House in Gig Harbor is a lovely , large, light filled home. My mother-in-law had a corner room with big windows where she could watch the birds and the sky from her bed. The staff was caring and very good at communicating. When it was time, they guided us through bringing in hospice. It is a beautiful, peaceful and faith filled place. We called it “God’s Waiting Room”.

My mother has been here almost two months and the staff amazes me more every day. The personalized care she receives is unbelievable. I have never encountered a more attentive staff who strives to make every day enjoyable for her. I never imagined we would choose a group home over a nursing home and almost didnt. I am so happy we found Agape. They were instantly family and treated us as such. The communication and updates really give us peace of mind when we arent there. I encourage you to visit if you are even remotely thinking about a nursing home. You wont be disappointed. Thank you Agape.
