I would not have given Glen Eagle 1 star until the past few years when the pathetic excuse for an administrator, wound nurse, activities director, etc. left, I give them 5 stars for the new administrator, the nursing staff, CNA,s and so many others that have a very tough and trying job and they do their jobs with love and compassion! Thank you to all of them!

Please do not take your loved one here. In my capacity as an Investigator and based on my experience, this facility appears to be poorly run. There are serious concerns about the Executive Director restricting the rights of the patients and/or employees. Why would employees be concerned about retaliation? I would never bring my Mother here. Based on my personal experience and professional opinion, and under no circumstances should non-verbal or dementia patients be fed raw chicken. Zero star's if it was an option. I encourage anyone who has had a loved one suffer at this location to seek legal redress, reach out to AHCA, Medicare and the Attorney General of Georgia. In my opinion, Stroke and Dementia Patients are at risk here,

My friend was there for 5 months, denied cardiac treatment, zero tests for her lung, heart and kidney diseases, denied prescriptions, and managed to catch a now colonized, antibiotic resistant eColi bacterial infection in her bladder, and intestines that she will have to battle for the rest of her life. Her physical and mental health declined, she now has night terrors of abuse and being abandoned and mistreated by anyone in a scrub uniform... she was belittled and in constant pain.. and they held her against her will, for almost 24 hours while we waited in town to rescue her. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to that place.... UPDATE; My friend has since passed away from the toll the lack of cardiac meds and the infection took on her body.
