My family has had a loved one at Temple City Healthcare, and our experience has been positive. The staff has always been kind, respectful, and attentive during our visits, and it’s reassuring to see our family member treated with care and compassion. We especially want to recognize Guadalupe Fernandez, CNA, for her kindness and professionalism, it’s clear she genuinely cares about the residents. Thank you to Guadalupe and the rest of the team for everything you do to make families feel welcome and our loved ones feel cared for.

After a fall and a hospital stay, I was transferred here. During my two weeks here I was very impressed with the quality of care I received. The staff was friendly and professional. The culture here is positive and I felt that everyone was truly interested in my recovery. The PT and OT folks were all good . The supervisor is a treasure! The food was much better than I expected. There was an effort to have fun - like the daily “happy feet” parade. And the graduation ceremony was unexpected and touching. David, Shayanne and others were great. I recommend this facility highly.

I was recovering from ankle replacement surgery from Keck-USU Hospital in Los Angeles on January 16and transferred to Temple City Healthcare Center in Temple City Ca.i was there for 72 days before o was discharged. I selected Temple City Healthcare Center because Keck-USC is partnering with Temple City Healthcare Center so their doctors will check on the patients from KecK-USC. This was my main concern and with the knowledge that I will be seen by the doctors from Keck-USC and they will report back to my surgeon/doctor. My main concern was to regain my strength and mobility with the aid from the Rehab Department with the guidance from Shea (The Director) and his assistants (Brandon, Ralph,Jacob, Carol, Leigha and Nancy). I was at the beginning wheelchair bound and with the assistance from all the CNA’s who were assigned to take care of me (Rose, Guadalupe, Guadalupe, Stephanie, Pam, Brenda,JoJo and Rasario) all did a Excellent Job helping me getting me up for showers, getting me dressed and help feeding me when needed. They would wheel me down to the activity room Wound care nurses did an excellent job taking care of my incisions to make sure no infections occurred (Teigha and Sandy). The Charge Nurses (Karla, Stephanie and Tiffany) are excellent. One instance Karla would always check when she starts checks my bed isn’t to high up to make sure I don’t fall out. The nurses Judy, Alessia (graveyard) and the others are very good and keep the patients needs in the forefront. The activities department (Dianah, Alice and Terissina) are Fantastic. I at first didn’t really wish to participate but with my CNA’s telling me that I need to get out of the room and mingling with other patients. I did and made very good friends and started a Dominos club showing how to play. This helps the patients count. The Administrator JoAnne is Excellent‼️ When she goes down the hall she says hello to all the residents and make sure they are all doing Great. Thank you for your wonderful care. Rich Schmidt

I have visited this facility in my role as an Activity Consultant many times and am very happy to consistently see a strong focus on resident care, engagement, and quality of life. The activities program offers a variety of innovative group, one-to-one, and independent activities, and staff throughout the building were interacting with residents in a positive and respectful way. It is always great to see a team that understands that activities, care, and engagement are important to resident well-being. They have a great outdoor patio area. The facility is clean, well kept, and welcoming.

I am a Physician and I go to many nursing facilities and this one is by far one of the best. It’s A+ in comparison to others and it is always clean. The residents are always treated with dignity and respect, and they like to work with compassion. I've never seen such compassion of care of being delivered. Consistently so clean. Head and toes above the other facilities. I would highly recommend this facility.
