A Helping Hand in Hawthorne was such an amazing place for my Mom (who lived there for over 1 year before she recently passed away). The high quality of care, communication, knowledge, respect and kindness by the owners and the care givers was outstanding! They always felt like a part of our extended family and even continue to now. My Mom genuinely felt the Helping Hand was a peaceful, homey and comfortable place, and she really felt connected to the care givers and the owner’s family, even when her dementia made it difficult for her to know where she was living or who she was living with. We always felt Mom was very well cared for, safe and respected (and we visited almost daily, so we really had a true understanding of what it was like there). The setting is bright with a lot of outdoor light coming in, and the backyard is beautiful. My family and I are forever grateful for A Helping Hand!
