Not impressed with Golden Merced Care Center. My grandmother has been in the hospital and was discharged . She has to be at this place for a couple weeks. We were told that everything would be ready for her. But once we got her there . There was no bed the room was very dirty and so was the bathroom . We had to wait a hour for them to figure out how to get a bed in the room . Once they got a bed and made it they left and didnt help my grandmother into her bed . My wife and I had to help her get into the bed . Nurses didnt seem like they really care . Well cam say all of them there was one nurse that kinda helped . But I'm not impressed with this place . Our loved ones matter. My thing is I know they wouldn't treat there loved ones like this. Specially if that loved one is 91 years of age . Like my grandmother is . Very mad at this place

My father has been in care at this facility for about a month now, and I dont think they have the manpower for there patient, or there nurses. It seems that most the nurses are young, and just either here for a paycheck or working on the career. It upsets me that they seem not to have enough assist to help there patients, and doing rounds to keep an eye on them during there recovery. My dad just fell this past Saturday may 23,2026, and he was flown out by a helicopter due to a bad head injury. That why I ask, why dont there staff keep an eye on there patients more, as well I've tried calling the facility 10 times, and no answer. As it seems they dont have enough staff on the weekends.

I thought this place was going to be a good fit for my loved one ! But I was wrong ! Took them almost 1hr 30 to go check up on her . She needed to use the restroom! She pressed the button for the longest time and no one ever checked up ! Called about 5 times and NO ANSWER !!!!! I’m so disappointed from this place!!! Definitely never will never again put my trust on this place ! So ridiculous!!! Definitely I do not recommend sending ur loved one here !! Pathetic !

Please don’t let the Google rating fool you. My partner was admitted here and did not stay long due to the conditions. The facility felt poorly maintained from the moment we arrived — the entrance door was broken, the building smelled strongly and unpleasantly, and the rooms showed visible neglect, including holes in the walls. When I came to visit, I wasn’t greeted by staff at the front desk. They simply stared at me and didn’t ask for identification, my relation to the patient, or any questions at all. I was allowed to walk in without any security checks, which was very concerning. The foul odor continued throughout the main entrance and into my partner’s room. He requested a transfer, but we were told the process would take a long time. Because of this, he had to leave against medical advice and was re-admitted to the hospital to restart the process. He was eventually advised to pursue home health care or another facility instead. Please don’t let the Google rating mislead you — our experience was extremely disappointing.

It was a great a Experian activities, physical therapy was fantastic. Therapy got to go home when I got here I couldn't walk and now I am running out this door with the walker, and I LOVE BINGO..
