A Gathering Place Senior Activity Center & Adult Day Health Care in Danville, Kentucky operates an adult day health care program and senior activity center that promotes independence through social, recreational, nutritional, and wellness programs for seniors and adults with special needs.

The Adult Day Health Care program serves adults ages 21 and older in a safe, supervised group environment Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided. Care includes LPN support and collaboration with each client's interdisciplinary care team. Activities encompass games, reality orientation, cognitive activities, music and craft programs, physical activities and exercise, and seasonal and holiday activities.

The program also offers transportation assistance to help seniors complete activities of daily living, including rides to the doctor, pharmacy, and grocery store, available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on a first-come, first-serve basis with advance scheduling.
