We contracted with 24 Hour Home Care to help my mom transition from a hospital stay to assisted living. We initially moved from the hospital to a skilled nursing facility but wanted to have more individualized, prompt care as she was completely incontinent at the time. 24-Hour Home Care allowed us to have her move home and assisted in helping her with physical/occupational therapy exercises in additional to moving from diaper changes to using a bedside commode. Our contract was short term as the need to move to assisted living was obvious and we had to wait until the apartment was ready. We did have one shift not covered but the staff really kept that to a minimum with other times being covered by longer shifts. Staffing with Covid has been an issue in many industries right now so it was understandable. All in all, I was very pleased with the staff and the service they provided.
