Leti Medina is the essence of the Visiting Angels! She provides compassion and caring to my husband, a Viet Nam veteran, through the VA respite program. She always has a smile and kind words to share. She has so many ideas on how to keep his mind active to include bringing over a great jigsaw puzzle the 2 of them are doing together. If I am not at home when the physical therapist visits, Leti provides the therapist w a detailed report of how it’s been going and then Leti provides me w a detail of the PT session! My husband is truly thriving w Leti and we both look forward to her visits. Way to go Leti and the Visiting Angels!

I have been employed with Visiting Angels for over 5 years. It has been a great experience. They provide quality trainings so that the caregivers can help the clients live their best quality of life. They go the extra mile to recognize their staff and let them know that they are appreciated. They offer 24 hour care which allows additional flexibility for the caregivers schedule They provide detailed care notes to allow each member to receive individualized care. They take the additional time to match caregivers that are best fit for each client. They are professional and respond to the caregivers in a timely manner. A staff member is available 24 hours a day to provide assistance with situations that arise after normal business hours. Overall my experience being employed with Visiting Angels has been great. I would recommend them for employment and providing services to your loved ones.

The Angel currently caring for me is THE BEST. I was Maria’s first patient with VA. She is quite phenomenal. I never have to tell her what to do twice. She has quickly learned my quirks and characteristics. She is exceedingly careful in understanding where I hurt and how to mitigate pain and discomfort. I humbly consider Maria to be the epitome of what one should ideally experience with Visiting Angels. She’s the perfect ambassador for the company.

I have received excellent care by my Visiting Angel, Julianita . She encourages me to walk, move and go out of my room and talk with others. While giving me a shower she has been helping me learn how to safely do it by myself when I am ready. As a retired teacher I enjoy how she teaches me new skills without making me feel helpless. She has helped me grow more confident with my walker and do my exercises to help strengthen my wrist. I look forward to the days she comes. She encourages me, she provides praise and reminders of how far I’ve come. Definitely an angel in my book! Linda Buzzell
