We used Visiting Angels when my elderly Mom came back to her Senior Community from hospital. She had to have 24 hours caregiving services. She feel in love with the 2 ladies, she she was treated like a Queen. We used them for 3 weeks, they had a rotating schedules which was nice. For me it was like being on vacation. I really didn't worry or even her from her that much. She cried when their time ended. I wished so bad to have kept them but finances won't allow it. You can search for lower pricing but most senior care prices are around the same amount so let me help you out there. If you are in need of trusting, loving, caring, worryfree, follow instructions well, get more bang for your buck service, then I highly recommend Visiting Angels.

Our family reached out to Visiting Angels when our mother was under hospice and needed full time live in care in her home. Our experience with the agency was excellent. They were able to provide us two caregivers in a timely fashion and provided back up care when one of the caregivers needed a day off. Both of our original caregivers provided my mom excellent care, but she did not ‘click’ with one of them. Visiting Angels understood our concern and arranged for a change. We were extremely pleased with the change and my mother’s last few weeks were spent with two outstanding caregivers. They took initiative but also communicated openly with me and my siblings. I highly recommend using this agency.

We have been associated with Visiting Angels in Orland Park for several years. My family first used their services for my Mom who passed away 4 years ago. We now employ them to help care for my Dad. Overall, we have had a good experience. They really try to work with you and your specific needs. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is about some of the personnel. Truthfully, it’s not entirely their fault as the business they are in can be difficult to find and keep quality employees. We have had our share of some questionable ones. However, as stated above, they really listened to what we wanted in a caretaker and continued to work with us until we found a good fit. My Dad’s “Angel” right now is great and we are very pleased. It takes a huge burden off the family to have her there for my Dad. I would highly recommend them but have patience until you find the right person to be there for your loved one.

Someone referred me to Visiting Angels and I'm glad they did. The entire experience from start to finish was great. Jim and Kathy and the entire team are awesome. I will be using and referring Visiting Angels for any of our caregiver needs.

I was very skeptical about getting home care, but I had to do it and looked at various places. Visiting Angels in Evanston is fantastic. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful, caring, and conscientious. If you're not happy with a caregiver, you can let management know and they'll find someone else who's a better fit. I will never forget their kindness and help.
