Siro Rehabilitation Center

Servicios Integrados de Rehabilitación (SIRO) is a rehabilitation facility in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, offering post-hospitalization and post-surgical recovery care. The facility's mission is to help patients achieve the greatest level of independence and functionality possible before returning home.

SIRO provides multiple therapy services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and recreational therapy. Physical therapy offerings include ambulatory therapy, laser therapy, heat and cold modalities, paraffin treatments, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, exercises, and massages. A physiatrist provides evaluation, individualized work plans, and EMG studies. The facility also offers specialized post-operative care for procedures such as mamoplasty and abdominoplasty.

The facility maintains nursing staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support elderly adults and their caregivers through the recovery process. Nursing services include medication administration, assistance with personal hygiene, meal assistance, dressing assistance, and help with transfers and ambulation. Clinical care follows established protocols.

Patient accommodations include comfortable rooms with meal service, WiFi access, and cable television. The facility provides immediate notification to medical personnel in case of emergency. Pre-admission requires a prior evaluation by the Services Coordinator and medical plan pre-authorization.
