We ended up not needing a place for my mom right now, but while we were looking Tony at Glen Terra was extremely helpful and communicative. He clearly takes pride in the facility, and he was understanding and flexible when our circumstances changed. We greatly appreciated that and will definitely return if and when we need to.

All senior assist living buildings I’ll have one common goal and that’s to help the family and that individual moving into the community unfortunately at this particular property it’s very sad. Cecelia the front desk receptionist very bad attitude when approaching her she was reading a magazine not friendly and no customer service skills whatsoever. She had one of the residents open the front door of the community. All of the residents were congregated at the front entrance and they looked unhappy

Long overdue review, I had a loved one at Glen Terra. Facility was not well managed in 2019. Owners hired new administrator early 2020 and almost immediately positive changes started to happen. Carlos, new administrator is a nurse, former combat marine and a RCFE licensed administrator. He changed half of caregivers hired and Trained new caregivers. Big difference this made, care improved 100%. He increased caregiving staff and took control of facility. Diana, community relations, is great and takes time with you. You do not feel pressured with Diana. Overall Glen Terra is a great friendly place for your loved one.

Long overdue. Back in November 2019 I was researching Assisted Living Facilities for my uncle who was at a Skilled Nursing Facility which, well, had it's issues. I live in Northern CA so I had to line up a few tours to coincide with a planned trip down. Glen Terra was the 3rd facility I toured in a day, and after meeting Diana and seeing the facility, I knew I had a favorite I was leaning towards. I could tell Diana wasn't just trying to "fill another bed". Her low pressure, engaging and caring approach to assess my need was something that definitely stood out. The apartments I toured while there we're nicer, larger, and less expensive than what I had toured earlier that day. I knew my favorite of the (3) places I toured that day and it didn't take much convincing to get my uncle on board with the move so I quickly began working with Diana to move forward. Again, being from out of town, I had several phone calls and countless text messages with Diana in order to finalize things and get all the necessary docs filled out prior. Diana was always available, always understanding, and always helpful. She coordinated taking delivery of a TV and bed sheets that would be going into my uncle's room along with recommending and working directly with a Hospice organization to get things prepared for his arrival. In addition, she worked on obtaining quotes from a couple different medical transport companies to get him moved. Just before the move day, we're talking less than 24 hours before, my uncle took a turn for the worse. We had to delay the possibility of a move until he could be assessed by Hospice and the decision was made to NOT move him. After all her work, we had to cancel the move. Regardless, Diana was professional and understanding, and continued to stay in touch with me for updates. Unfortunately, my uncle passed away within 24 hours of going on Hospice. After his passing, I was able to get refunded of all deposits and fees I had sent for the move - not a thing was charged. Diana handled the entire situation as if it involved a family member of her own. With that said, I can only say, give Glen Terra a good look. After my uncle's death, I was really disappointed that he didn't get a chance to enjoy such a nice place and be surrounded by great staff. Hunting for a good Assisted Living place can be a lot of work, but it's nice to find someone like Diana at such a great facility to help make things a bit easier.

Glen Terra is a great community. They go the extra mile to go over your needs so it's a good fit. They just renovated the dining room which has beautiful lighting. After touring all of the Glendale communities, I reserved an apartment here but unfortunately we no longer needed it. The rooms are modern and clean. The new administrator is also an RN which is an added bonus! S. B.
