FairWinds Assisted Living is such an amazing community. You’re given the warmest and genuine greeting as you walk in from the front receptionist Alex. FairWinds utilizes community resources to elevate the daily experience for their residents such as live entertainment, enjoyable physical group activities, wonderful cuisine and a utilization of additional healthcare services such as Home health agencies to incorporate more advanced care when needed. Your loved one is in the best of care with the health and wellness team managed by Pauline LVN, Pricilla and Mary. The complex feels like a resort as you walk through with spacious living spaces. Definitely my choice to spend your days relaxing as you enjoy retirement.

My Mom has been at Fairwinds for about 2 years & we have been extremely pleased with the staff. Mom was fortunate to get apt #130E, which is across from the Heath & (Care?) room. Mary & Priscella work there & are outstanding employees. They are so very nice & caring & love the residents. These girls love their job & it shows. My Mom loves them. My family feels very fortunate to have found a wonderful place for Mom.

I want to recognize a few of your outstanding Staff members. Mary and Priscilla in Heath and Wellness for their kindness, helpfulness, compassion and the ability to help guide our Family members through the difficult process of aging. They both have gone above and beyond what we could have expected. The care and understanding our Moms needs have been greatly appreciated. Also, I want to mention Troy in Maintenance. When Mom has any issues in her apartment Troy has been there to correct the problem in a timely manner. I want to thank these outstanding individuals for their service and support. My mother had an excellent experience while living at Fairwinds for over three years. She enjoyed her time there with the residents, getting reacquainted with some old friends, making new friends and enjoyed interacting with the staff, especially the Wellness Team who took excellent care of her needs. She enjoyed the special events that were offered on holidays and some Friday and Saturday evenings especially when the accordion player, Rick DeCarlo, was scheduled and played traditional Italian songs - she would set her walker aside and get up and dance to the music! Once we moved my mother into Fairwinds we experienced a 'peace of mind' knowing that her needs would be taken care of 24/7. She did have a couple of health issues while staying there and was tended by the wellness team quickly to assist her and contact emergency services for her. After recovering and returning to Fairwinds the staff took the extra time to help her adjust coming back to the community and get her back on her routine. It is unfortunate that after this recent health issue my mother wont be able to return to Fairwinds, but we have great memories of her time in the community and have made great friendships with the staff and residents that were close to her.

Very nice (Upscale) senior living community in Fresno California. They had their 24th anniversary party this evening, entertainment was provided, live music by the “After Dinner Mints.” The food was good. It cracks me up that elderly people always seem to complain about the food in senior living communities, even when it’s good!
