Our family has been using Engage As You Age for over a year now, and they have been an absolute lifesaver. My wife has cognitive decline, and before finding this service, she required constant attention and entertainment at home, which was very challenging to manage alone. Their companions, Jacqueline and Natalie, visit every Tuesday and Thursday for 3 hours. They do a magnificent job keeping my wife active both physically and mentally. They plan wonderful outdoor activities and senior outings based entirely on her capabilities and interests—including scenic walks, birdwatching, coastal trips, museum visits, and eating out. The owner, Ben, provides exceptional hands-on care management. He is highly communicative, flexible with scheduling, and keeps me informed of any timing changes immediately. Ben even checks in with us monthly and takes my wife on his own 3-hour adventure, always bringing fresh, creative ideas to keep her stimulated. If you need a reliable, compassionate companion care service for a loved one with dementia or cognitive decline, I cannot recommend Ben and his incredible team highly enough.

I am so thankful that Engage as You Age exists. I was recommended this service for my 98 year old father-in-law by both a case manager and a neurologist. Signing up with EAYA has been a game changer for my father-in-law and much relief for me and my husband. The people that have been brought into my father-in-law’s life from EAYA are very thoughtful and can tap into his interests in art and history. My father-in-law looks forward to each visit with his new friends.The owner, Ben Lewis, is always responsive, happy to chat, bounce ideas off of and goes beyond just the visits. He is very invested.

Thank you Ben and your staff for your kindness, expertise and assistance in engaging with my mother. Her excitement to share a few hours a week on new adventures while giving my father a small amount of respite has been excellent. This path with Alzheimer’s is definitely different for everyone yet difficult for us all. Ben is filled with compassion and support which shows in his ability to match care friends with our loved ones.
