My mother has been a resident at this facility since SunWest's, and I have had the privilege of working closely with Yulma, the Resident Care Coordinator, who consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication as a caregiver in memory care, often exceeding her scheduled hours and earning recognition as Employee of the Month. Her commitment to the residents is truly commendable. Barbara has exhibited remarkable resilience and dedication during challenging times, providing unwavering support to families and the organization. William, the Maintenance Director, has proven to be highly effective, promptly addressing issues and demonstrating a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of residents. Some of the most exceptional individuals I know are these three employees. As my mother continues to reside here, I am pleased to note that as long as these exceptional managers remain at the Cottages at Hemet, she will continue to receive outstanding care. I highly recommend this facility to everyone in our community.

I don’t even know were to begin, I want to keep it as professional as much as I can. My mom was there for about 2 in half years until we finally moved her out. If I could give zero stars I would. The place is beautiful but the people running it are horrible people that don’t care about the people. From the boss Barbara to her supervisors Dawn and Yulma. They had a great supervisors and nurses Yolanda, Miriam when my mom first moved in she was great and was always available my mom and my family always new my mom would be ok when Crystal, Lala and Elisa would be working as a supervisors should. They would make sure my mom was getting checked, changed and feed. Then they let go of the main supervisor Crystal. Then things definitely got worse As for the nurse they don’t have one they can’t keep on for how horrible the bosses are. The way Barbara sold us this place was completely the opposite. After we moved in Barabara could care less what we were having trouble with. The final straw for us was when my mom One time she was on the floor for four hours she had to press rep pendant and nobody was coming to check on her Managed to get her phone and she called me that she was on the floor and nobody came. I I got there and as soon as I got there, I was looking for somebody to come and help me get my mom up and I couldn’t find So as I’m going around, I see a door that it’s open a little bit and who do I see? The new supervisor Yulma kissing in the office. My mom calling they are ignoring her. To top it off the maintenance guy that she was kissing is married and then I go to the kitchen, and there is a resident sitting down alone waiting for her food because nobody fed her. I got my mom and left . I sent somebody to go get the rest of her belongings. For anyone that has loved ones staying there check up on your family frequently ask questions to them. I also forgot to mention that over 100 narcotics oxycodone was stolen from their medication room. Barbara never called me back to let me know what was going to happen to the medication and they never replaced it. so also make sure that your parents or your loved ones are getting their medication. If they owners want this place to succeed and for loved ones feel comfortable they need a whole new bosses and supervision to changed. A whole new caring staff that aren’t there just for a paycheck.

Mom’s been complaining about the food not being chewable I had to take a look around and see what she meant this is RAW MEAT this is very unacceptable! I had to go out of my way and go buy her something she would enjoy she wasn’t going to eat that! All this money my mother and everyone else here is paying and this is what they are feeding them!

I am so grateful for this place and the staff during admissions was amazing. Brittney went over and beyond to help us and guide us through the process. She was patient and kind which was so important for my mom during this difficult decision. Barbara was also so helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend Cottages at Hemet for anyone needing memory care or assisted living. It is clean and all the residents look and sound happy. In addition, my dad cleared his plate on his first night there and told me it was delicious and he hopes to have more. So sweet. THANK YOU, BRITTNEY, for clearing your desk for the entire day to help us get my dad the help we so desperately needed. You were an answer to prayers. 🙏🏼

My dad is located here and he loves it. They have lots of activities, friendly people very helpful.. the place is clean and the layout is perfect for him with lots of green grass and trees and gazebo. Not like those larger senior, living places that look like a hotel
