my name is Torain. A couple years ago I needed to move my father from the East Coast to the West Coast so that I could better care for him. Once he was here, I found that these large beautiful places that charge all the money, didn’t do the job then I thought I was paying for. too many people and not enough staff to pay attention to them. Then one day, Casa Abuela’s and Marianne stepped in. My wife found them and I moved my dad from this big fancy place to this quaint family oriented place where the staff actually paid attention to him. My dad got to spend the remaining time on earth in a beautiful place with beautiful people who actually cared. They would take them out so he could walk around and get fresh air, sit and do artwork with him, puzzles, dexterity stuff. Just simply talking to an old fella with Alzheimer’s and dementia, meant a lot to him. He always told me how wonderful the people were there and he was in love with Marianne‘s home cook meals. That was his favorite part. He love to eat. Marianne her staff are took such good care of him, relieving a large load from me. I Worry about him being left to sit in a room for hours on end. I would advise anyone who is in need of care for their family members to go visit and talk with Marianne and her staff. If I had to do this over or assign knew what I know now I would bypass the large facilities and go directly to Marianne and the staff at Casa Abuela. I love and attention I gave my dad was the best part for both he and I. I generally don’t write reviews, but this place deserves it. They take care of people the old-fashioned way. By treating them like people.

A True Home Away from Home. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found Casa Abuela for my dad. After two previous experiences with other care facilities that were filled with empty promises and left us feeling disappointed, Casa Abuela has truly been a breath of fresh air. The other places seemed more like a façade, but Casa Abuela is the real deal. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place goes above and beyond expectations. The communication with the owner and caregivers is excellent; they are always available to answer questions and provide updates. It’s evident that the staff genuinely cares about each resident, treating my dad with the dignity and respect he deserves. What sets Casa Abuela apart is how they create an environment that feels like home rather than just a place to stay. The facility is exceptionally clean, and the effort they put into planning engaging activities for the residents is commendable. My dad always has something to look forward to, which has made a significant difference in his quality of life. I also appreciate that they have awake staff at night to address any extra needs or safety concerns. This level of attention and care is something we didn’t find in other facilities, where staffing issues were prevalent. Casa Abuela is well-staffed, ensuring that every resident receives the attention they need. Bottom line, Casa Abuela is not driven by profit; they are truly in it for the love of humanity. I wholeheartedly recommend this incredible home care place to anyone looking for a loving and supportive environment for their loved ones. Thank you, Casa Abuela, for everything you do!

There are not enough words to express my gratitude of the care that Casa Abuelas (CA) provided for my dad. My dad became a client of CA on December 26, 2024 and passed away peacefully, one day shy of a year, on December 25, 2025. Mary Ann and her staff were absolutely amazing in caring, not only for my dad, but for the rest of the clients. They are truly professionals and angels rolled into one. My family and I were so thankful and fortunate to find CA to provide the care my dad needed due to his declining health. If anyone is searching for assistance for a loved one, I HIGHLY recommend CA. Please reach out to Mary Ann for your needs. CA is truly a blessing. God bless CA staff and God bless the clients in their care.

MaryAnn and her staff are phenomenal people. I cared for my Father for years but towards the end the amount of care and attention was too much for me to manage alone. After visiting Casa and meeting MaryAnn I knew it was the best place my Father could be. I am eternally grateful for MaryAnn and Carolina and everyone at Casa. In a time where you are your most vulnerable they are there not only for your loved one but you as well. Casa feels like a home, and that's no accident. Good people make a great home.

I was temporarily at Casa Abuela’s until my new home was ready. Maryanne, the owner, has created an environment of love & caring for its residents in a home-like setting which is warm rather than institutionalized. There are plenty of activities which bring everyone together to be creative or to just have fun. Maryanne is a superb cook and baker who serves a wide variety of meals. She trains the other caregivers to follow in her footsteps while still being able to maintain their own personalities. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Abuela’s to any family member seeking such an environment for a loved one who needs assisted living care. Deborah Art
