My grandmother recently moved into Oakwell, and the experience has been absolutely wonderful. What truly won us over was the activity coordinator, Jeff. I’ve never seen someone show such genuine love and compassion for every resident—he treats them like they’re part of his own family. He takes the time to personally connect with each individual. This place is just like a home. The rooms were a perfect size and the staff were great. If we could’ve afforded private pay forever, we would have stayed. We left simply because we eventually needed Medicaid. But trust if you can afford, this small homey place is perfect for your loved ones.
