I provided services to my aunt and I was very happy with the care she received from her angel. However, she worsened and required facility care. About 3 months after that happened, I received a check to reimburse me for my deposit. The check was " pay to the order" of my aunt. Visiting Angels was taking the payments directly from my checking account and knew my aunt was not paying and should have also known that she was dying and unable to cash any checks. The check should have been made out to me or directly deposited back to the account that it was taken from. I spoke with Stephanie on the phone. She treated me like I made the mistake. Said she would reissue the check only after she received the un-cashable one back. Never did she apologize for my inconvenience...or my postage. She said that to stop payment on the check and issue a correct one would mean a charge from the bank. And she wasn't willing to do that. I would suggest that someone with common sense be placed in charge of issuing refund checks. The reason services stop is most often that the client no longer can benefit from them --- or go to the bank. And it makes sense that the refunded money go back to who gave the money.

The quality and experience coming from the aide , the attention to detail coming from the agency , you actually get a case manager who also assist you making sure your loved one is getting the care that is needed and wanted . Everyone is so very nice , accessible and detail oriented. I wish I would have had Visiting Angels in the very beginning. I'm the daughter and care giver. They have taken alot of the stress from me. So thank you VISITING ANGEL!!

Our experience with Visiting Angels has been wonderful. They took great care of my Dad until his passing. We appreciate the professionalism, dedication, care, and kindness of our nurses. We are thankful that these services are available to us. We would not have been able to care for my Dad in his home by ourselves. A great many thanks to the Visiting Angels.
