I am a veteran, 8 years Army and 8 years Air Force, combined active and reserve duty. I live in Alamosa. This September I will turn 70 years old. But I don't feel or think like a 70 year woman. Why? Though I'm single with no family, my Visiting Angel team, headed up by Clorinda and Debbie, has made it their purpose to ensure that I have their support in the daily and significant events in my life. Clorinda has made sure she was present and waiting for me when I exited the SLV Hospital after my knee replacement surgery. She brought me home and made sure I had everything I needed for my home care. Clorinda regularly provides me with support and in addition with my Caregiver Debbie. When I need food and I am blest and know I will have their support and transport to the local food bank, or store. Debbie is a gem! She ensures I have the care I need. From showers, to shopping, helping me clean my apartment, she's right there to help. Debbie joins me to help get my "steps" in. I require a cane to walk with and often need a stabilizing hand to keep me from falling. I consider myself to be greatly blest by my Visiting Angels. I highly praise and recommend my Visiting Angels for anyone who needs the excellence of their care and professional services! God bless you all! A. Shomayr

Kimberly and Sabrina have been caring for my 81 year old mother approximately 9 months. They truly are God-sent “Angels”! Both ladies go above and beyond to help and support our family! My father and I are especially impressed and touched by how compassionate and caring they both truly are! It is evident they genuinely care about my mother and her needs. In addition to the duties they thoroughly complete each week, they both demonstrate thoughtfulness and compassion through the “extras” they do, such as manicures/pedicures for my mother, bringing small gifts or baked goods for my parents for birthdays or holidays, bringing small craft projects to engage my mother in, etc. We greatly appreciate how each Angel engages with and spends quality time with my mother. That is especially important to us! Kimberly and Sabrina both bring an incredible level or peace of mind to my father and me, as we know my mom is in wonderful hands. I can’t express enough how wonderful Visiting Angels are and our family is immensely grateful for our caregivers and the entire Visiting Angels team! Tonya M.

My name is Mary C. My caregivers are Kimberly, Crystal, Elizabeth and Amy. They help me in so many ways. They are always ready with a smile and a hug. I highly recommend the caregivers/angels for in any in home care need you may have. They are all caring but each has their own talents they bring to my home. We are fortunate to have Jessica help us manage my dad’s care. She is responsible and respectful and knows when to respond in a fun manner as she dishes it right back to my dad. There is no one better suited for his care.

I have two elderly parents. They are both bed ridden. I use the services of Visiting Angels. My parents live in the middle of nowhere. Despite this, the angels are able to help. One Angel, in particular, Amy, has been very helpful. She is hired to help my step mother but has given me helpful suggestions as to how to handle my father. Things like positioning him for eating and some physical care. Amy has gone beyond her job description. Thanks Angels!
