My older sister is now a resident at Sunrise. Her adjusting to her new home has been going very well. She shares how nice all the staff and residents are. I feel this Assisted Living home is the perfect size for her. Not too small and not too big.

My Mother has advanced dementia. After much research and many visits to other facilities, I moved her to the Reminiscence Memory Care, at Sunrise Mission Viejo. From my initial tour to my Mom's move-in and subsequent care, we have received nothing but first-class service, communication and genuine care from everyone I have interacted with at Sunrise. Most importantly, my Mom is engaged and quite content when I visit her.

Awesome facilities. Staff really is amazing. Makes a sometimes difficult and worrisome decision easy . Feel really comfortable know our family memeber is well cared for and respected. Can't really thank the staff enough.

I don’t recommend sunrise. Tisset's inaction while residents both upstairs and downstairs face mistreatment raises serious concerns about her commitment to her duties she just sits and smiles. Similarly, Gilberto's failure to improve the residence center's environment or compatibility is troubling. The facility's facade of warmth and care, characterized by "fake smiles" and "fake attitudes," is misleading to families. Charlene's "grand tour of hell" further exacerbates these concerns, painting a deceptive picture of the facility's true conditions. The pervasive sense of insincerity among the staff, who merely "pretend" to enhance Sunrise, is deeply unsettling. Moreover my family member had someone living in their reminiscence care and they were mistreated and the manager never did anything.Based on these observations, I strongly advise exploring alternative senior living options. The apparent lack of genuine care and the prevalence of neglectful practices within Sunrise Senior Living suggest that it may not be the most suitable environment for vulnerable individuals requiring compassionate and attentive care.

Our family moved our Mom Beverly Clark into Sunrise of Mission Viejo, a little over a year ago. We visited many facilities and found Sunrise to offer the most inviting and home like atmosphere and also the best medical care. We have been so happy with the care Mom has had at Sunrise. She has made so many wonderful friends and really enjoys all of the activities and outings that are offered. The staff are all wonderful and always so helpful. We just attended a wonderful and delicious Mothers Day brunch. I am always impressed at how the staff all work together as a team to put on these beautiful events. We feel that Sunrise has added years to Moms life. We couldn’t be more pleased. Cheri Kimmel
