My mother came to Rowntree in February 2026 for assisted living. Luckily we found this place when they were recommended by a social worker at St. Joseph’s Hospital for skilled nursing after her surgery. Sadly, we had a safety issue with her old assisted living and decided in was time to start looking for a new place for her, it was the best decision. The staff members and volunteers at Rowntree are so helpful, kind and caring. You can see they all truly love their jobs. My moms room is bright with lots of windows and they have beautiful grounds for walking, flowers, gardening and a relaxing place to sit and visit with the other residents and visitors. It doesn’t feel like an assisted living but home. The food has a variety of choices, healthy and flavorful options. Although the building may not be as flashy from the outside, it is like home/family inside. My mom is happy and I know she is safe and well taken care of. They have a 24 hr health clinic on premises the residents can go to anytime if they aren’t feeling well or have any medical needs. The first week they have a wonderful staff member show them around and help them accumulate and make new friends. I am so thankful to have found Rowntree and highly recommend it for your love ones.
