A solid senior center that gets the job done — even if the building itself is a little dated. The volunteers are genuinely warm and friendly, and there’s a surprisingly wide variety of activities. Just know the popular programs use a lottery system, so bring your lucky vibes when signing up. The group trips are fun (and nice if you don’t want to plan anything), though you may pay a bit more than going on your own once you factor in the van and coordination. Still, it’s a good time with a group. Bingo night on the third Tuesday is a blast and absolutely worth showing up for. Bonus perk: you can borrow jigsaw puzzles or books with no time limit and no checkout hassle — dangerously convenient if you’re a puzzle hoarder like me. Overall, friendly people, lots going on, and definitely worth checking out.
