My mother was apprehensive moving into another Assisted Living after we pulled her out of the last place a year ago. She missed the activities and socialization so we went on a tour of Allendale Senior Living. Ryan, the Sales Director, assured my mother that she would be treated with the utmost care and respect. She was extremely happy with everything she saw from the exercise class with wheelchair-bound residents to the puzzle corner. She is excited to give Assisted Living a new try.

After an amazing recovery at Allendale Rehabilitation and Care Center, where my 76-year-old mother healed from a hip fracture, we realized she needed a bit more ongoing support. We spent what felt like forever touring assisted living communities—probably around six in reality. At first, we scheduled tours with sales staff, and everything seemed perfectly smooth and well-orchestrated. But about a week later, we revisited each place unannounced, this time with my mother. That second round made it clear that most of the initial tours had been staged. Except Allendale. What we saw the first time was exactly what we experienced again. Nothing felt different or rehearsed. We even asked if we could speak directly with residents, and I was genuinely surprised by how many people said they were happy there. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first—but that quickly changed once my mom moved in. Her room is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and the overall environment feels warm and welcoming. Most importantly, she’s thriving. I just want to say thank you for making such a difficult decision easier for our family. My siblings and I struggled for weeks trying to figure out the best path forward, but once mom moved in, everything fell into place. Just a week later, we celebrated her 77th birthday in the private dining room, and everyone was amazed at how well she was doing. That moment confirmed we made the right choice.

Had the pleasure of touring Allendale Assisted Living. It’s recently renovated and looks beautiful. The staff appear happy and engaging with the residents. The memory care unit is joyful to see with the residents singing and dancing in a warm homelike environment. The management team is accommodating and knowledgeable patiently answering my questions. If you are exploring ALFs or memory care facilities for someone you love I would highly recommend this facility! Reasonably priced with great amenities!! Easily located off of route 17South.

My mom had stayed several times for a respite care stay. I have never had an issue. Her needs are always met and any concern is met with a prompt response. The facility is immaculate and offers a variety of activities and rehabilitation services. I would recommend Allendale and look forward to another stay for my Mother soon.

I have the pleasure of interacting with the staff at Allendale very often. I don’t often feel compelled to leave reviews but this team surpasses all expectations of mine. From the initial conversation with Ryan Pro about my patients interested in moving in - and how well he interacts with families and truly takes the best care of them to their assessments done by their nurse Javi who brings light and expertise in a tough time for most. I have nothing but rave things to say. And the team is lead by a true leader in Dan Silva - there aren’t many places where you see the director interacting on a daily basis with their residents and bringing joy and life to them. Allendale is one of my go tos not only because of the beautiful atmosphere and exceptional care but the team that leads it.
