You won’t find people who are more passionate about what they do than the staff at Golden Years Homestead. It’s our mission – and our pleasure – to put you at ease. Because we know that when you can rest easy, you can enjoy all that life has to offer. And here, there’s a ton to enjoy.
As a continuing care community, Golden Years is designed for a wide range of people (55 and up) with a wide variety of care needs – from independent living to round-the-clock care. Every day, we do our very best to meet the needs of every resident.
If there’s one thing we hope we do exactly right, it’s making sure you feel a part of the community. This place fosters a deep sense of connection and kindness. But don’t take our word for it. Come and see for yourself. But be prepared to love it here.
Golden Years Homestead is part of Greencroft’s family of nonprofit retirement communities. Our nonprofit status is a critical distinction. It means we’re driven by people, not profit. Every penny we make goes into creating a vibrant community and into the care of our people.
Our culture of kindness, family, and faith runs deep. The Golden Years community is home to over 200 residents who enjoy a full continuum of living and care options from independent and assisted living to skilled nursing.
Our values, mission and vision demonstrate just how we plan to help ease your worries, so you can feel free to live vibrantly and with great joy.
Our CROFT values are more than just words on a page. Our values are the framework we use to make decisions for our residents, team members and the organization. CROFT values are a personal choice each of our team members make each day. At any one of our communities, you will feel the difference in our culture because we choose to live these values. We feel it and hope you do too.
United by values. Motivated by people.
Creativity – Pursuing innovative solutions, creative ideas, and ongoing improvement.
Respect – Showing courtesy, kindness, grace, mercy, patience, and love for all.
Openness – Embracing our differences, listening to others’ points of view.
Fairness – Responding with careful consideration for all.
Teamwork – Working together to create memorable experiences – making this the best place to live and work.
Golden Years Homestead exists for the purpose of meeting the physical, medical, social, financial, and spiritual needs of the elderly population. The Ministry, through the assistance of Christian directors and staff, will provide high quality care and promote the best interest of each person residing within Golden Years, regardless of race, religion, creed or the financial ability to pay for the service.
Golden Years will be the life plan community of choice in Allen County.
If you’re not getting older, you don’t need to read any further.
We all know aging comes with a variety of worries. Perhaps the biggest one is that we don’t know exactly what we will need or when we’ll need it.
It’s tempting to put off thinking about getting older and needing help. Tempting – but not practical. One thing we know for sure is that there’s a lot less to worry about when you have a plan.
Our living and care options range from at-home care and independent homes and apartments to our assisted living and healthcare (skilled nursing) facilities.
You may never need extra care, but there’s enormous peace of mind in knowing that if you ever do, you won’t have to leave your community to find it.
Explore your many options at Golden Years.
