City View Towers are twin high-rise apartments overlooking downtown Memphis, TN. City View is the largest Section-8 community in Tennessee and the one of the best for seniors over the age of 62 to call home. The property has an Elderly designation with HUD and we pride ourselves on our ability to provide seniors with an affordable, safe, and comfortable living environment in the Memphis area.
We have two floor plans at City View; take your choice of one of our spacious studio, or one-bedroom homes. Most units come with a private balcony for residents to sit out and enjoy the view of downtown and the Mississippi River. Residents will also enjoy socializing with one another in our large community room, or taking advantage of our on-site barber shop and sundry store. We offer covered, off-street parking and controlled building access for the comfort and safety of our residents.

Silver Tree Residential, LLC (STR) was formed under the vision of James Carmichael as the exclusive means to achieve the quality standards he strives for in each of his senior and family housing communities. STR is the sole management company for the communities owned by Mr. Carmichael as well as those owned by Housing Preservation, Inc. By capitalizing on a network of hundreds of employees across the country, STR provides exceptional property management services for 59 communities; totaling 8,496 apartments homes for over 9,500 seniors and families.

We manage both senior and family communitites designated with Project Based Section 8 Rental Assistance. Our management team is experienced in handling the complexities of the ever-changing arena of HUD compliance and regulations.

STR is centrally located in the US and we own and operate properties nationwide. Our central location means we are never far from our residents and have strong working relationships with staff at all HUD Multi-family HUBS, as well as in Washington DC.
STR embraces the concept of “Aging in Place”. This concept ensures we not only provide housing, but also services that help our senior residents manage their life and needs. Our community-based resident Service Coordinators help ensure our seniors participate and receive the support of any and all social programs available to them.
